Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the technical aspects of our production facilities, ensuring optimal availability, reliability, and condition.
• Develop and implement an effective asset strategy, focusing on detailed lifecycle management and meticulous maintenance planning and execution.
• Collaborate closely with senior management, including the site and platform engineering heads, in formulating a robust long-term investment strategy.
• Skillfully prepare essential project documentation, including charters, business cases, and CARs (Capital Appropriation Requests).
• Foster seamless collaboration with the project management team, allowing for efficient portfolio management and reporting.
• Ensure the availability of necessary resources during project execution, from commissioning to qualification.
• Take charge of small-scale investment projects, adhering to strict timelines, budgetary guidelines, and uncompromising quality and safety standards.
• Lead and inspire a team of skilled professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Engage actively as a member of the site leadership team and the regional engineering leadership team.
Essential Requirements:
• Diploma in engineering (Dipl. Ing. / M. Sc. / B. Sc.) of equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in engineering in a pharmaceutical industry, with time spent on investment projects and maintenance.
• Fluent in English and proficient in the local language.
• Broad leadership experience (successful project management) in large investment projects and/or large maintenance organizations.
• Objective setting and performance management, managing budgets, lean management.
• Excellent negotiator, strong influencing and persuading skills, ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Adaptability, ability to work under pressure, collaborating across boundaries.
